Students from any year group are welcome to apply.

Talk Requirements

Your talk must:

• Be delivered entirely in English.

• Last between 4 and 5 minutes.

• Present one clear central idea.

• Be your own original work.

• Be suitable for a school audience.

Suitable Topics

Excellent TEDx talks often explore ideas such as:

• Solving everyday problems

• Technology

• Science

• Mental wellbeing

• Education

• History

• Culture

• Sport

• Creativity

• Innovation

• Environmental issues

Your topic should encourage your audience to think differently.
